Youmuu's Ghostblade

I think this might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfIXO9YjZM. Youmuu's Ghostblade Guide This is a great item for AD assassins due to its AD, lethality, and movement speed boost when activated.

Team Fight Tactics is a game with an immense focus on items and the way these items function. Items can be forged, found and combined together to create some of the most potent ways to absolutely decimate an enemy’s entire team composition. These items are often hard to create and hard to find, but once you have them lodged into your inventory, they are total life savers. Some items can change the entire course of a fight and some can change the entirety of a character’s origin, TFT Spatula can do both.

So if you’re still unsure of what the Spatula can do? Well keep reading on, because it gets super interesting.

What does Spatula do in TFT?

When Patch V9.13 hit Team Fight Tactics, Spatula was added to the game in its full form golden glory. The Spatula shares its delicately designed golden architecture with the Golden Spatula from League of Legends. In fact it shares so much with League’s Golden Spatula that it even uses the same icon, albeit a bit more zoomed into the image. The main function of Spatula is to create different items when combined with other items; however this item comes with an added function; to give a character an extra class!

Spatula is a particularly mysterious item that brings chock-full of confusion along with it. Unlike most of the other items in League of Legends’ auto battle simulator Team Fight Tactics, Spatula is hard to understand. There are no proper instructions in game about its use, and there aren’t many ways that players can actually use it unless they have a certain cool base item to combine it with. However, once understood how Spatula can be used; It is the most powerful item in the entirety of Team Fight Tactics’ catalogue.

All Recipes made witch Spatula TFT and their Uses:

There are a total of nine recipes that you can create with the Spatula, and most of these are EXTREMELY strong. A lot of these require some hard work to get to, and a ton of patience. These nine recipes made with the Spatula item can change the way you play the game, as well as change the way the opposition reacts to you entirely. So let’s get into them:

FORCE OF NATURE – S TIER:

ITEM RECIPE: SPATULA + SPATULA

ITEM FUNCTION: WEARER GAINS 1 EXTRA CHAMPION IN THEIR TEAM.

Now the Force of Nature item is one of the most unique and one of a kind items in the entire game. This item is so strong that it can make or break an entire team composition, and dismantle the strategies put up against you with sheer force. The main use for this item is to gain an additional Champion on your team; this will increase your chances of winning drastically as you have another body to spare on the battlefield.

Force of Nature is one of the only in game items which necessarily does not require a GOOD champion to synergize with. You could put a useless champion on the board and make them wear this item, you will still be able to bring that spare champion to your team and demolish the opposition. This is one of the most useful late game items, especially if you’re over level 7, you can have eight champions on your team. This makes you actually a very difficult opponent to fight in game. It is a tremendously difficult task to acquire two Spatulas, but if you’re patient enough then it is definitely worth the wait.

DUELIST’S ZEAL – A TIER:

ITEM RECIPE: SPATULA + RECURVE BOW

ITEM FUNCTION: THE WEARER GAINS DUELIST CLASS BUFF

This is a simple item to understand, and one of the much easier items to craft. After you get your first Spatula, you probably already might have a Recurve Bow already. Giving this item to literally any of your champions will result in a +15% attack speed. This item synergizes well with a couple of different classes: Assassins and Warlords.

Giving an Assassin your Duelist’s Zeal will result in them landing their hits much faster, especially if your team already has a couple of duelists on hand already. This synergy works really well when you’re aiming to create a team that does tons of damage at a really fast rate. However if you have a Warlord, then giving them the Duelist’s Zeal is always a good choice. They have an added HP bonus, which makes them the prime target for most opponent champions, in which case the extra attack speed REALLY helps them out. Set 4.5 currently has a bunch of Warlords active, so either you pick Azir or Katarina, the choice is up to you.

SWORD OF THE DIVINE – A TIER:

ITEM RECIPE:SPATULA + B.F. SWORD

ITEM FUNCTION: THE HOLDER GAINS DIVINE CLASS BUFF

The Divine Sword is a unique item, which wasn’t available to for a while because of the Blade of the Ruined King being one of the most powerful items in game. However, with Set 4.5 it has been reactivated and buffed with the power of the Spatula. It has become a total A-Tier item that everyone should get. Sword of the Divine gives any Champion you pick a Divine Buff, which means they gain a +15% Attack Damage buff. This is extra useful with some of the less powerful yet fast attacking champions, so using it with your Assassins and Duelists is a great move, however if you have an Adept on board; this can really shake up the fight!

Ghostblade

Giving Sword of the Divine to your Assassins and Duelists will result in a massive a damage reduction and a pretty good damage buff; this also depends on how many Divines you have in your stack but the more the better. It can decrease the total damage up to a total of 65% if you have eight Divines in your stack. However if you have an adept onboard, specifically Shen, then you can do massive amounts of damage to your enemies while their attack speed is slowed down. This is really useful for getting those first few hits in to decimate your enemies at the start of a match, however if you’re looking for something consistent and less risky, then Assassins are definitely the go-to choice.

SPIRIT OF THE DRAGON – A TIER:

ITEM RECIPE: SPATULA + NEEDLESSLY LARGE ROD

ITEM FUNCTION: THE HOLDER GAINS DRAGONSOUL CLASS BUFF

This is one of the more niche items that most people don’t go for. However Spirit of the Dragon is ACTUALLY insane when you’re using it on a champion that it can synergize well with. The Spirit of Dragon item gives the holder a Dragonsoul trait, which comes with a bunch of perks. This item will give you 40%-160% attack speed, along with the same increase in Spell Power. This item works really well with slow and tanky Champions, such as Vanguards but also works great on Mages.

For the Dragonsoul bonuses to work at a substantial level, you need at least 3 Dragonsoul Champions on your team. Definitely have Brand, Olaf and Shyvana on your stack for some good synergies. The best Spirit of the Dragon bearers are definitely Mages, Vanguards are also great but Mages have a +80% insane Spell Power if you have 3 Mages on your team, so you can almost triple their base number depending on how many of each you have. 2 Mages and 2 Dragonsouls, add another mage to the mix and give them Spirit of the Dragon, and you’re golden.

VANGUARD’S CUIRASS – A TIER:

ITEM RECIPE: SPATULA + CHAIN VEST

ITEM FUNCTION: THE WEARER GAINS VANGUARD CLASS BUFF

Vanguard’s Cuirass is the easiest of these items to explain. It’s an A-Tier item which means it is highly valuable, and since it is a Spatula recipe it is already super strong. The main function of the Vanguard’s Cuirass is to give an armor boost, and turn the wearer also into a Vanguard bringing their traits to the wearer and your team composition. It comes with a +25% Bonus Armor rating to the wearer and their team, along with perks such as 100 Armor and 20 Magic Resistance if you have another vanguard on your team. The best classes to give the Vanguard’s Cuirass are usually classes with less HP or classes which take fights more aggressively. Brawlers and Duelists are the best choices for this.

Giving your Brawlers the Vanguard’s Cuirass means they get an EXTRA layer of protection to their overall HP. This is extra helpful because of your opponents almost always having mages during the current Meta, so having extra magic resistance is always important. With the Duelists it’s because they have lower HP, but can do insane amounts of damage. So giving them more protection will result in constant damage going towards your opponents. SMART!

WARLORD’S BANNER – A TIER:

ITEM RECIPE: SPATULA + GIANT’S BELT

ITEM FUNCTION: THE HOLDER GAINS WARLORD CLASS BUFF

The Warlord’s Banner is an incredibly useful tool to have in your inventory. Why? Because it can make your Mages darn near UNKILLABLE, and watching everything play out as your Mages decimate everything is incredibly fun to look at. Warlord’s Banner brings you +200 health, and when stacked with two other Warlords it brings your whole team a +250 health buff, along with +25 Spell Power.

Why is this so strong with Mages you ask? Well Mages are the main class which can make the most use of Spell Power. Most of the times your Mages have pretty good range, but if they do have less range for example the range on Annie, then it’s always great to have a ton of protection on them.

ELDERWOOD HEIRLOOM – A TIER:

ITEM RECIPE: SPATULA + NEGATRON CLOAK

Lol youmuu

ITEM FUNCTION: THE HOLDER GAINS ELDERWOOD CLASS BUFF

Another A-Tier Item that was created specifically with the Spatula. This item can give you the Elderwood class’ traits, which comes with a plethora of bonuses. First of all, this item gives you +25% Magic Resistance right away, aside from that it also brings a couple of other buffs from the Elderwood perks. If you have a stack of 3 Elderwood champions, you gain +15% on all resistances, including magic and attack. You also gain a +5% Attack Damage buff and a 5% Spell Power buff. If you manage to get a total of 9 Elderwood on your stack, which is very useless but you can get +40 on resistances and +20 on both Attack Damage and Spell Power.

The best Synergies with Elderwood is that you can cover all of your resistances, so being used in synergy with a stack full of Elderwoods is key. If you don’t have any Elderwoods then your best bet is using a Mystic, specifically Jenna. Jenna’s attack speed is slow but her damage is a solid amount, so having her with the Magic Resistances, Attack Damage and Spell Power buffs is a super useful way to pick enemies off.

YOUMUU’S GHOSTBLADE – A TIER:

ITEM RECIPE: SPATULA + SPARRING GLOVES

ITEM FUNCTION: THE HOLDER GAINS ASSASSIN CLASS BUFF

Youmuu’s Ghostblade was memed a lot for months because of how little damage it did and how weak the CRIT damage was at the start. However it has seen some drastic changes, and here in Set 4.5 it is STRONG. The item gives the holder a +10% Crit and Dodge chance, making it extremely useful for Champions that have high attack speed. If you have 2-4 Assassins in your team, then you have a +10% – +30% chance of Dodging and Critically Damaging an opponent, if you have 6 Assassins, then you might have get up to a 55% CRIT chance.

Best synergies here are obvious; Duelists for one are EXTREMELY useful here. Duelists with Youmuu’s Ghostblade are insanely strong, their attack speeds can be stacked up to +15% – +25%, combine that with their Assassin traits; a solid +10% Crit and Dodge chance. This makes your duelists deadly to go against and the game a ton more fun.

MAGE’S CAP – A TIER:

ITEM RECIPE: SPATULA + TEAR OF THE GODDESS

ITEM FUNCTION: THE HOLDER GAINS MAGE CLASS BUFF

Youmuu

This is a uniquely timed item, as it only works on two kinds of Champions the best. The item gives the wearer the Mage class quirks, which comes with a ton of benefits. The first one off the bat is a +20 Mana boost at the start of ever round, aside from that you also get +80% Spell Power IF you have 3 Mages in your team composition. The Meta is already very Mage heavy, so having them onboard is the KEY to victory.

The best users for this item are an easy choice: Mystics and Syphoners. Mystics is one of the go-to choice because their already built in Magic resistance, which is just awesome when combined with extra spell power. If you have a team full of Mystics and Mages, you could go for a ton of magic resistance as well as a ton of spell power, which means less damage taken and more damage done. If you do however choose to give it to a Syphoner, your gameplay will be UNIQUE. Giving it to Morgana or Vladimir will result in all allies healing for a portion of the damage they deal from attacks and spells. And if you have more Mages on board: That Spell Damage and Attack Damage will definitely go sky-rocketing along with your overall healing.

This was all there is to know about Team Fight Tactics’ most peculiar item, the Spatula. The item might not be the easiest to find, however it is one of the most versatile items in the game. Creating some of the most unique combinations which can drastically alter the way a match would’ve been.

One of my main and favorite champions! Here is a full guide about her, you can get her on ANY lane you want, but the jungle one have, obviously, a different build. This one works on Top lane, Mid lane and bot lane.

Summoner Spells:

Those summoner spells works, any of those on any lane, I would recommend you, even as bot lane Quinn, to use some other summoner spell instead of heal, but you need to watch your team if there’s really good starters. She only works with (on team): Leona, Alistar, Malphite, Shyvana, Hecarim, Maokai, Shen, Nautilus, Zac, Sejuani, Galio, Sion, Amumu. And some others.

To see the full guide, click on Keep Reading, there’s a lot of build examples you can have, a lot of explanation about early game items and starting items options, match ups, runes and masteries. Check them out! :D

Runes:

  • x3 Greater Quintessences of Attack Speed
  • x9 Greater Marks of Attack Damage
  • x9 Greater Seals of Armor
  • x9 Greater Glyphs of Magic Resistance

Your runes will definitely be ad carry ones, as attack speed on quints and damage on marks, those will always works. But you can also try Lethality with Damage ones, won’t work so well but it’s still something

Masteries:

Masteries (18/12/0) - Keystone on: Fervor of Battle

As you can see I printed from my own mastery pages, using the legacy client, but the following order is still the same.

You can also get Thunderlord’s Decree instead for a better burst damage, but fervor of battle is so you can keep up with the damage while you’re stacking it.

Items:

There will be a few examples of builds here, some are usually seen on the high elo, like using BoRK and Statikk, but the other ones are usually seen on any quinn main matches, even on High elo ones.

Starting Items:

  • Doran’s Blade
  • Health Potion
  • Warding Totem
Lol youmuu

This first one is the most recommended one and the best one for trades, and sustain. Long Sword is not so good, even if you want to rush Serrated Dirk, the other one option is Corrupting Potion, but if you want to get it you can get on the first back thought.

Early Game / Main Items:

  • Ninja Tabi
  • Duskblade of Darktarr
  • Youmuu’s Ghostblade

Those three are the most common ones as first items, people usually go Youmuu’s Ghostblade or Duskblade of Draktharr as first item, but recently since the Blade of The Ruined King rework, a lot of people has been using it instead.

Example of Builds:

Damage build example (1):

First Items: BoRK, Statikk Shiv, The Black Cleaver.

On this build here you can see it has good attack speed, and critical strike chance. I honestly think that Lethality Quinn is a lot better, Critical Strike chance make you have few hits that does like ~1500 damage, but on Lethality you will always get ~950 damage on every hit. (well, if you get Duskblade of Draktharr, the first one will deal ~1200 dmg)

Damage build example (2):

First Items: Berserker’s Greaves, Duskblade of Draktharr, Youmuu’s Ghostblade.

On this build here you can see that Lethality items are built on the early game, Attack Speed is not so much of a deal on this one, since you will get Berserker’s Greaves, it will be the only item necessary to the attack speed need. Element table.

The Black Cleaver and Mortal Reminder complements on the damage, remember that you can proc Black Cleaver with two passive hits, and a normal hit. The Deadman’s Plate is only for the armor and health, since the momentum won’t proc on her, you can get for the movement speed instead, or get Randuin’s Omen instead.

Youmuu

Resist Build Examples:

Those mentioned above are the same thing as the previous ones but with different items instead, more sustain ones.

On the first one: Randuin’s Omen, Maw of Malmortius, Guardian Angel.
On the second one: Frozen Mallet, and Guardian Angel as last item if necessary.

As you can see, on the lethality option, you can get more defensive items because the damage need will be filled with: Duskblade, Black Cleaver and Malmortius.

Youmuu's Ghostblade Tft

Other Items:

Other Useful Items:

The Bloodthirster : you can get it as 3rd, 4th item. As a damage complement item, instead you could also get: Youmuu’s Ghostblade, Infinity Edge, and some other items:

Mercurial Scimitar : you get this item in case enemies has a lot of crowd control, also as 3rd or 4th item.

Lol Youmuu's Ghostblade

Deadman’s Plate : you can get it for more sustain, this won’t proc the momentum passive but it will give you the movement speed anyway, so it’s useful.

Boots of Swiftness : you can get it for a better movement speed, is commended.

Youmuu's Ghostblade

Note: on top lane, Quinn can pretty much go well against every champion. She doesn’t go so well against Shyvana, Vladimir, Ryze, Shen, Nasus.

Ghostblade League Of Legends

I hope this guide helps you all out since it’s the one I use and I rarely lose with any of those builds, try it out sometime!
